2. Support for formulating "Management Improvement Plans"

A "Management Improvement Plan" is formulated by SMEs facing financial difficulties, such as heavy debt repayment burdens, with the help of a Certified Support Organization. Benefits include potential financial support like refinancing or new funding, as well as government subsidies covering part of the fees paid to the support organization.

3. Support for applying the Business Succession Tax System

The Corporate Business Succession Tax System defers the payment of gift and inheritance taxes on unlisted shares acquired by a successor, provided the company is certified under the Facilitation Act and meets specific conditions. This system has a General Measure and a Special Measure. To apply for the highly preferential Special Measure, the company must formulate a Special Succession Plan detailing the successor and future management outlook, include the views of a Certified Support Organization, and submit it to the prefectural governor.
